Three PNG women accused of sorcery still in danger says missionary(Bruce Hill)

A missionary in PNG says three women accused of practising witchcraft in PNG's Enga province are still in danger, despite being rescued by police.

Both Anton Lutz and the local police commander say a total of four women were accused of practising black magic or sanguma, after a local man died.

It's alleged all of the women were tortured and one of them died as a result of her injuries.

Police rescued the other three women and returned them to their families, but Reverend Lutz says he visited the place where the torture took place and he believes the women are still in danger of being killed.
