Wantok Clothing has won the Traditionally Inspired Dress category on Project Runway for the third consecutive year on Saturday evening.

Project Runway was sponsored by Pacific Balanced Fund and hosted by the Miss Pacific Islands Pageant Papua New Guinea (MPIP PNG) at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Port Moresby.

The three categories which designers created outfits for include the traditionally inspired dress, evening/day wear and sarong wear.

Designers Genevieve Igara-Faleva and Henry Yaro of Wantok won K4000 as cash prize for the best traditionally inspired dress.

Wantok has now earned the right to again dress the crowned Miss Papua New Guinea on the regional Miss Pacific Islands Pageant, which will take place in December in Fiji.

The prize for the best outfits in both the day/evening wear and sarong wear categories was K3000 each.

Natasha Tamanabae won the best day/evening wear, while Yanah Copland won the best Sarong Wear.
