Education is and will always remain the top priority of the National Government.
Prime Minister Peter O’Neill said that Education and Health was a precedence that the Government would continue to project money into the country whilst also ensuring the children of this country receive the best in education and health care.
At the hosting of the first post at the Butuka Primary School in Moresby South in the Nation’s capital, the PM spoke of his state visit to China in 2015 in which he visited Shenzhen and spoke with their Government about the sister city relationship and on their discussion to invest in the city.
“I stated that education was a top priority in the country, the discussion included how they could be part of the investment in the city of Port Moresby, and these new look school which is being built as part of that relationship will be the model project for the rest of the country.”
